I mean, going to a Kenzo show is a bit like visiting really rich family members. Your life really sucks when you leave. For their debut menswear show, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim had brought in an L.A. touch: a friggin’ bespoke Kenzo Starbucks van, and there were people serving us coffee in Kenzo Starbucks thermos, who were way better looking than your average Starbucks personnel. The show was overwhelmingly amazingly produced, and the collection was dedicated to Steve Jobs. A pretty epic debut if I ever saw one.
