Dior Homme A/W 2012

KVA really aced it at Dior Homme this season. He also aced the previous two seasons, but the third time always feels like something special. It was, by all accounts, a collection that will go down in history as the one that cemented his transformation of Dior Homme from an ‘abandoned house’ to a ‘revived house’. And it’s probably the only time in fashion history a house has been revived on a scale like this twice within a decade. Good on Kris, he deserves it. I didn’t hear a bad word about this collection all week. There was a total unanimity amongst editors that this was fucking brilliant. So strong, so fresh, and so in keeping with Dior Homme’s spirit and KVA’s own spirit. He couldn’t have done a better job. I bow low.
