Ann Demeulemeester A/W 2012

I always get too excited at Ann Demeulemeester and fuck up my pictures. But in this case – and, mind you, the light wasn’t really on my side either – my fuck-up turned out pretty amazing. This picture is exactly the essence of this season’s Ann: black, black, black–BANG! Enter fiery red! Black, black, black–BANG! Enter icy blue. It was like sitting in the electric chair of the D-Meister, her holding the pulse device and pressing it on occasion. I felt the electric shocks and I loved them.
