Once you pop you can’t stop

We L-O-V-E everything about New Year’s: glitter and glamour, dressing up, dancing and CHAMPAGNE! (Yes, our New Year’s is pretty much a Cher concert.) We’ve decided we’re only drinking bubbly on the last evening of the year, and to help us select the perfect champagne menu we’ve teamed up with Kjær & Sommerfeldt – an atmospheric store and wine bar at Gammel Mønt 4, Copenhagen. In business since 1875, it’s quite the experience: wooden panels, high ceilings and a amazing collection of wine, spirits and champagne.

The cult of Karl

Since Junior Madsen recently cut off his ponytail and swapped his hair powder for a tin of Brylcreem, we’re now paying tribute to Karl Lagerfeld the old-fashioned way: via his clothes. (FYI: Anders is also no longer available for Karl Lagerfeld tribute band appearances.)

Just because a boy has to rent extra storage space for his coat collection doesn’t mean there isn’t room for one more. Why else would said boy be paying for all that storage space is all I’m saying. So for Christmas, I think the coat fairy should pay that coat-obsessed boy a visit and give him the number featured above. Christmas school

Speaking of Martha, what better time of year to pull out a some vintage Stewart-née-Kostyra than the month during which Martha triples her income? Here’s La Stewart’s legendary Christmas book, which Christmas just wouldn’t be complete without. L-O-V-E Martha Stewart, like to death! We almost have the same haircut as well.

Martha taught me that Christmas doesn’t have to be a time for love and care. It’s not about smiling and looking jolly whilst making sure everyone has a good time. Christmas is about perfection! And if you turn into a craft-making ice queen whose face doesn’t move in the process, that’s totally fine. People will be too scared of you to do anything about it anyway.

Everyone should own Martha Stewart’s Christmas. It really is perfection!

DANSK Wishes: Versace

Not that I’d ever betray my dream of one day owning enough Flora Danica to throw a banquet that would put Martha Stewart to shame, but while I’m collecting – or, you know, waiting for someone to start my collection (hint-hint) – I think I’ll take a little Donatella on the side. So I’m chucking a few pieces from the Versace Tresors de la Mer tableware collection on my Christmas list, for when ten of my closests come over for a screening of my new The Borgias box set. Might wear my Versace for H&M cap while I’m at it. Buon Natale, amici!
