Hat trick
December 9th 2011, Posted By martin In DANSKWORLDChristian Dior once said that one isn’t properly dressed unless one is wearing a hat. He probably wasn’t talking about woolly beanies and bobble hats, but just indulge us on this one. At DANSK HQ, Mr Boss takes everyday hat-wearing very seriously – we’ve been trying to pry Noel Stewart’s headpiece from our A/W 11 cover away from him for ages, but he just loves to wear that little spiked nun hat at his desk.
Anyways, without further ado, here are some of our headgear favourites this season – click here to see the full list.. (more…)

December 5th 2011, Posted By martin In DANSKWORLDAs DANSK readers you probably have a passion for quality design and in busy times like these a great watch is a must. That’s why we at DANSK turn to designer Henning Koppel, the man who set the standard for Danish design.
For Christmas, DANSK really wants the classic Koppel Chronograph, which is a sportier version of the two new gents’ watches. It draws your attention with its sapphire glass Koppel Chronograph and champagne-coloured dial. Suddenly a smaller gift under the tree is not so bad after all.

1 COMMENTDANSK Wishes: Coca-Cola Light
December 4th 2011, Posted By jens In DANSKWORLDDid you know that Coca-Cola was discovered on the mission to cure headaches?
Christmas is all about celebrating life and having fun. We party quite fashionably (meaning we like to get our drink on), so we at DANSK decided – why not cure ones “post-party-we’re-not-feeling-too-good-and-should-have-put-down-the-6th-bottle-of-champagne-when-the-sun-came-up-slight-headache” with a cold and refreshing Karl Lagerfeld Coke Light? We can’t wait to see what great designer will cast his or her spell onto the Coke Lights when it’s revealed in Spring 2012.

December 3rd 2011, Posted By jens In DANSKWORLDYou can’t miss it. It’s everywhere on the Copenhagen party scene and DANSK readers might already have tasted the seductive cocktail. At DANSK we are convinced: if you like Campari, you are going to love Negroni.
The Campari-based drink is a variation on the Americano and is an oldie but goodie developed at the former CaffĂ© Casoni in Florence back in 1919. In true Mad Men-style we’d rather like to add a cocktail to the Christmas tradition in the flavor of the Negroni.
Negroni recipe:
Pour the ingredients into an old-fashioned glass with ice cubes, stir well and serve with a slice of orange.

December 2nd 2011, Posted By jens In DANSKWORLDThe hardcore DANSK readers might have seen the tuchas of the cute little oak Elephant in DANSK #25. Back then Danish design house Rosendahl re-launched three of the classic wooden figures by famous Danish designer Kay Bojesen. The original dog, the hippo and the rabbit were all graciously re-launched to the joy and excitement of many design enthusiasts. The Elephant is no newcomer but it’s still a Christmas wish for all of us at DANSK.
