If we were girls, we know exactly how we’d dress next season, because a really cool girl in our opinion is the Marant girl. We cannot imagine any young girl not wanting to look like this at next summer’s hot festivals. And even though we’re boys, there’s no doubt we are still going to get us that opening number: a rastafari-ish sweater that just made us happy!

Mr Elbaz sent out hordes of super strong women with slick, oily hair, in working girl outfits that will definitely get you somewhere in any company and shoes that are made to walk all over all the other women who want your fab life. Don’t mess with these women – they have God on their side, too, judging from the holy crosses around their necks. We loved the airy dresses at the end, too – this was a Marilyn Monroe moment for us… We just waited for the steam to come up from below…

We know a lot of women who would die to look like Barbie dolls dressed in pink candyfloss garments – to most women that will always be a dream. Having seen the Viktor and Rolf show it can all come true from next season. This collection was a true love affair with femininity at the highest level.

So the DANSK team finally got to meet George Michael …well, from row 25 at least, but we were rigth there in the middle and he kept looking and waving our way… During a truly AMAZING performance by our style icon numero uno at Forum in Copenhagen the crooner said that he was not going to go out after the concert, but having met the ”hot crowd” at last nights concert he would definately reconsider… We would have gone with you Georgie and paid for your drinks, however, we are sure you found your way to the legendary Cosy Bar all by yourself. If you guys are anyway near a city in Europe where George Michael and the Symphonica Tour plan a visit this Autumn, please make sure you go. Georgie still has a voice like the finest velvet and boy can he dance… Thanks GM for a GREAT night! You inspire us! The next DANSK is for you…

Ohhhh….George Michael! We at the DANSK headquarters just adore your Armani-esque style, the crew cut and the sunglasses that are always there. We simply adore the fact that this icon of ours is doing four full concerts with his Symphonica: The Orchestral Tour! in our little GM obsessed country…! NICE! Denmark loves this guy, DANSK surely looooves him too and we are so going to the concert in Copenhagen Forum Saturday night… We shall give you a full report on our night out with Georgieboy. Respect!

Red devils at Viktor & Rolf. Pat McGrath’s red faces probably won’t catch on as a major commercial trend for winter, but red was an important detail in the show, not least on the shoes. Coats and tops with shapes inspired by angry lizards defending themselves looked amazing – and we enjoyed this week’s best soundtrack.

The maestro himself, Mr Valentino – looking tanned and not a hair out of place – gave his new young team a standing ovation after the spring/summer collection was presented in Paris a couple of days ago. It was truly a beautiful collection, and one that deserved a standing ovation – and we’re still standing!
We of course interviewed the Valentino team, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, for the current issue of DANSK.
