Pure T-love

For years now I have been wearing my beloved Rick Owens T-shirt endlessly…and I still do. But lately I discovered these ĂĽber cool T’s from Danish designer Maria Leonhardt of the new fashion brand Blake – a brand that is worth keeping an eye on.
So far I have three different T’s from the latest collection…and counting. These T’s with their semi goth prints are hanging on my back every day. Pure T-love!

Ok, I got the coat already…and everywhere I go people stop me and comment on it! What a smash hit!…that never happened to me last year when I wore that very expensive showpiece from Dolce… Now I just need that orange wool sweater to go underneath and I will finally be a real COS person – looking interesting and intellectual in that Nordic clean kinda way. I’m gonna force my sister to go and get me that one!

Today is a sad day for Danish fashion. We lost one of the greatest creative minds in our business when Margit Brandt passed away today at the age of 66.
Margit Brandt and husband Erik were pioneers in fashion during the seventies and early eighties. She was the Mary Quant of Denmark and has inspired designers all over the world with her clever details on trenches, sexy mini skirts in suede and little feminine blouses. A whole generation of women depended on her designs of decadence and simple, sophisticated styles.
Margit Brandt has always inspired us at DANSK tremendously and we are going to miss her wit, charm and creativity.

It was a masculine affair at Ackermann this season – especially the great oversize, glittery blazers in amazing tones of greens, blues and pinks caught our eye. And the luxe slipper-like shoes made the look tranquil and down to earth. There is a time for everything – next season we are sure it is going to be pure Ackermania!!!

At the Hermès show, we were seated so close to the models posing in their luxe garments that we could enjoy every bit of the finish and finesse of these incredible pieces. And Hermès certainly have nothing to hide – they are beaten by no one when it comes to quality. Christophe Lemaire has invented a whole new interesting take on timeless style for the house that is certainly catapulting Hermès right there in front trendwise. It is still sophisticated of course, but also quite sexy and daring in some cases …like, we just could not get our eyes of the last outfit of the show – a geometric super mini dress with a wine-coloured oh so simple suede blazer on top!

If dear Jean Paul ever gets sick of designing PrĂŞt-Ă -Porter and Couture he can easily make a name for himself in the lingerie business – My God!!! Did we love all the models at the end of the show in Gaultier’s undergarments. So charming, chic, sophisticated and fun. Please, Jean Paul – make som male versions of this!

Stella and little sexy dresses – in that cooler than cool, pretty and dry kind of Stella way – seems to be a great combination. The last third of the show was nothing less than amazing when those sexy little numbers came towards us. Great blue palette and those Art Deco lines. LOVE!

We always love everything about Dries – including Mr Van Noten. And his cast, his venues, his hair and make-up …and of course his beautiful clothes that never disappoint us. This season we found it so interesting and artsy how he teamed up with photographer James Reeves and printed his work onto the fabric of voluminous dresses and jackets. We loved Reeves’ prints of lit-up windows in tall apartment buildings at nighttime. It kind of looked like little stains of paint until we came closer. So Dries…
